Frequently asked questions
With the cleanup/setup stage your bookkeeper will go through the process of connecting your bank accounts and other income/expense accounts. You’ll also be taught the basics of QuickBooks and your bookkeeper will clean up your accounts and get them up to date.
In the ongoing phase your bookkeeper will continue to organize and categorize your transactions on a monthly basis along with reconciling your account each month.
Key financial reports are also available to be sent via PDF such as Profit and Loss statements and balance sheets.
The Boookkeeping service does not include managing your invoices, managing your inventory (if any) or paying bills. We also do not handle accounts receivable or accounts payable. Services such as tax consultation, tax advice are available but as an additional add-on service.
As part of your initial consultation your bookkeeper will go over your reports and help you understand the ins and outs of what you can expect each month. Business and tax advice is not included, but can be discussed as an add-on service.
Yes, we can do your taxes but it is an additional service. Bookkeeping is to ensure your accounts are up to date, while tax preparation and consultation is a separate add-on service. We can discuss your specific needs during your free consultation.
